Jamaican Calabash Bag

These naturally handcrafted and carved round calabash bags are locally made in Jamaica. With beautiful signature Jamaican art carved on the outside of each piece. The size is about a medium 19in long by 17 wide, opens up with a zipper. Paired with a leatherette cord (artificial leather).

The bag provides sufficient space for your personal items such as, keys, wallet, snacks and more! Each calabash bag is unique in variation, no bag is the same. Each bag is intuitively chosen for each client order.

In rural Southern Africa, calabashes fruits other known as Tupperware trees (dried and hollowed) are used for typical utensils such as ladles, bowls, cups, bottles and containers to keep liquids, floats, pipes and musical instruments. When the flesh is eaten, it’s healing properties can cure many ailments & diseases even cancer!
